Unieks works with suppliers who purchase their paper responsibly (FSC®* or Recycle) and who manage their employees humanely according to the BSCI certification guidelines.

FSC®

We are now going one step further, within our collection we can offer more and more products with a responsible character. For example, all the material (tissue paper, shipping box, shipping bags and stickers) that we use to ship a product is FSC® certified and we recycle every shipping box again and again.

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC) is an international organization committed to conservation and responsible forest management worldwide. FSC® speaks of responsible forest management when the ecological, social and economic aspects associated with forest management are taken into account in a balanced manner. FSC® has arranged this in a transparent manner. Partly because of this, FSC® is supported by all major environmental and development organizations. And that’s where FSC® is unique 😉!

Wood and paper products that come from an FSC®-certified forest are recognizable by the FSC® label. To ensure that products with this quality mark actually come from a responsibly managed forest, all links in the product’s supply chain must be certified. Only when, for example, a forest manager, paper mill, paper wholesaler and printing company can demonstrate that they adhere to the rules of FSC®, can a product be sold as FSC® and the FSC® logo may be placed on it. The certification of these companies is done by independent certifiers.
